Were you one of the lucky ones to get your order placed or have you now been moved to a status of backorder?

I just called Google and asked why was I charged when I haven't received a shipping notification. Apparently, some orders were delayed as much as 48 hours because of concerns of orders being accidentally duplicated. The friendly rep told me that I should be getting a shipping notice within the next 24 hours and, when I do, to call them back so I can get a refund for the shipping (which is $19 here in Oz)!

So if you've been charged and haven't gotten a shipping or backorder notification you should be getting your Nexus 4 shipped soon and, when it does ship, call Google and see if you can get a refund for your shipping!

Backordered >:( ... was ready to drop VZW and have my T-Mobile microSIM all ready to go...

The ironic thing is that despite having the Google Play page open on multiple browsers on my computer, my GS3 on my home WiFi was the only one that actually got the order to go through.

So in Canada the Nexus 4 sold out in 6 minutes. I was sitting there with one in my cart, but opted to wait due to a few reasons (one being the "Nexus 7 pre-order fiasco")

I am gonna wait it out, until I read actually battery life reviews, possible build quality issues, and a healthy stock is maintained. Then perhaps i'll replace my BlackBerry

I wasn't even able to purchase one. It was set to launch at 9AM; I logged on at 8:50 but the site showed an error and emptied my cart. By 8:57, the site showed coming soon and was sold out. Hopefully LG makes more of these things soon!

They started the orders early at around 8:45. Luckily I was already repeatedly refreshing the page at around that time.

I ordered mine through Google Play Australia and my debit card was charged but I never got a shipping notification (according to the receipt I'm only charged when they ship the device) unlike everyone else in Oz but I didn't get a backorder notification either. Hopefully Google didn't screw up my order and that my phone is in transit without me knowing.
