Next iPhone Charging
Do you think Apple is going to create a new standard and make the smaller 30 pin that everyone is talking about, or go the futuristic route and do inductive charging. If they do inductive charging they would completely simplify it by incorporating it into the phone and kill Powermat.
Or there's the radical idea that the glass on the back becomes a solar panel? Any ideas?

No, no and no. One of Apple's biggest advantages is the universality of its devices. Being able to access and control so many different types of devices (ok mainly stereos) via 30 pin connector is not a good idea to give up. Airplay is going to take a while to develop traction and the iPod dock will not go away anytime soon.
Wireless/solar charging is likely too big of a change for a mass made device due out in six months or less, though both would be gladly welcome by the masses.
Powermat sucks. Wireless charging makes sense, but making everyone buy your case and still plugging into the wall doesn't improve the charging experience. If the actual powermat could inductively charge into more devices, it would be more popular, but it can't, so it
sucks.
I've spoke of it before and I'll repeat myself. Durability is needed on this iPhone. Apple can take cues from Motorola Razor Maxx with its massive battery and "splash proof" protection. Outside of that, a quad core chip and LTE seem necessary, some kind of ergo case similar to the Nexus S, too.
