Did you prefer iRiver gear back when it was HDD-based (and they were outstripping the competition fitting massive hard drives into their PMPs) or do you prefer their more recent flash-based offerings?

I'll go first. I'm a hardcore oldskool HDD player fan - I still have my old H140 (although I must get the dodgy headphone socket resoldered), and I use my H340 almost daily.
