Can we have a best games section? I know it's tough to recommend competing against IGN, G4 and the like, but those websites have so many annoying ads that if I saw the same info in this nice clean layout without all the popups I would rather come here. It's also easier to comment on this site and saying that you own, want or have played certain games can be a topic of discussion between users. Being able to attribute a personal score to your library of games in a community would be nice too!
Just thinking of new ways for gdgt users to be more like a community that shares opinions. How awesome would it be to put up a topic asking people to vote on the next game someone should play with choices in mind?

New features for the site!
Sounds very interesting but gdgt has always been about gadgets. I've thought about this as well before. Since games are not gadgets, they wouldn't be that appropriate here, maybe. I guess Playfire.com is exactly what you need. You make friends that are across all the gaming social networks like Xbox LIVE, Steam, PSN etc. Track achievements, gamer score, add games to your want list, customize profile with game themes etc. Check it out. Not saying that you're wrong but having games in the lists with gadgets doesn't seem proper to me. Just saying. No offense. I love creative discussions like this!
Playfire seems ok, but I really like the look of this website. So far Playfire is good at getting trophy info....I hate having to go to all these different websites. Too much fragmentation. I'll probably never go to Playfire again, but this website I check all the time to see if anyone has responded to my discussions or if an interesting topic comes up.
I guess what I mean is that I knew about Raptr and now about Playfire and I'm sure there are others that do the same thing, but it's lame that I have to go to yet another website. I'm sick of all the dumbass passwords and "friends" and followers, etc. Simpler is better, always. I assume more gadget nerds play video games and watch movies, but we don't have a place to discuss them here. This website doesn't know how to integrate with Facebook so I can't use my facebook friends list as a forum for discussion either. Everything just breaks down the more specialized it becomes.
All these different communities does not equal more discussions or more connectivity, it just means more divided attention and less quality.

raptr.com is another gaming networking site that has similar features. I'm not sure if Playfire has one, but Raptr has an application/IM client available to download like Xfire.
