My mother (in the US) needs a new phone and would like basic email capabilities, but cannot justify the high cost of a monthly data plan. Do they still have 'feature phones' that do basic email without the high cost of a data plan?

Also, sprint does not have good coverage where she lives and it is nice if she has a worldband phone that she can use when she visits me in Europe.
