Which carrier is this one? I might invest in the omnia 7 if it's on TMobile, seeming it's the closest to my beloved Zune HD form factor.

It's coming to Europe only/first. Not sure about a North American launch.

I like that they decided to go simple with at least one of the phones. So many of them have unnecessary glitz and glam that I just don't care for.

Exactly why I like it too. This one is sleek and beautiful. The one I can't stand is the HTC Surround - seems unnecessary to have all that relatively massive hardware just for bigger speakers.

Yep. I have a beef with the concept behind that phone. I absolutely hate it when people watch or listen to things on their phone with no headphones. Give them a speaker and man...I might start crackin some skulls.
