CapnDap

My in-laws got it for me+my wife for Christmas. It's a nice peripheral, but the quality of games seem to be left to party games.

I would love to see a fps tie in, or maybe an action game.

Yeah, that's the impression we had here at the office. Fun for a group, kind of ridiculous if you're just playing by yourself. That said, I feel the exact same way about the Wii, and PlayStation Move.

There's something about these games that use movement that just appeals to groups. Maybe it's the fact that we all look so ridiculous playing them, that you want to share it with friends (otherwise you feel like a fool by yourself?).

The weird thing about these games is that they are oriented at party play, but most of them can only allow one person to be tracked at once. Even when you do multiplayer battles or similar modes in games like Dance Central, you need to alternate dancing, which is not really very social.

It's a great system and a really cool new interaction method, but I don't think it's reached its full potential yet.
