I couldn't afford the A4000 so had to make do customizing the A1200. I ended up making my own case for it that needed two power supplies, had 6mb of ram (wow!) a 68040 40mhz processor, scsi hard drive for Workbench and even a 1x speed CD-ROM drive over SCSI. It was awesome, unbeatable, I had the most powerful computer in the world in my eyes, that is, until I saw Quake 1 running on a friends PC and I just died inside to see how hopelessly slow my Amiga was in comparison.

Bitter sweet times!
