My Adam is now rooted, which has improved the value proposition manifold. Access to Android Market makes this a truly useful and versatile tablet.
I think so, too. Couldn't agree more! Getting a custom ROM and market definitely made Adam appetizing.
On a side note, NI is having the same problem many companies face: they promise a lot in product, but it takes FOREVER to deliver. NI being small, the hope was that they'd be able to somewhat iterate frequently on software end, but it's still struggling. Oh well!

On the bright side, most other Android tablet developers are taking longer than expected to get their products to market, so NI still has a window of opportunity. What they need to do is ramp up manufacturing and establish retail channels in other countries.

Not yet because Google has not released Honeycomb source code to anyone except Motorola. They claim to want to make it run on cell phones as well before they release it.
