More durable alternative?

I have really enjoyed these headphones over the past 804 days, but my second pair just went dead in the right ear. (The first pair went dead in the left ear.) Is there something out there with equal (or better) quality and convenience but more durable?

While waiting for a reply I bought the "rugged" S5i. They seem less bass-y than the S4i's. We'll see if they last until day 804.
