Discussion about
Microsoft Zune 80 / 120 in the same list?
I have both a Zune 80 and 120. I "get" why they are in the same list but I don't think they should be?
Except the 120 doesn't have the silver bezel around the Zunepad, or have a Silver-back as it is an all-black device by default, and the Zune 80 always has a silver back. But internally they are the same except the HDD probably a couple of other internal components.
It depends on what your doing with your Zune. In my case I can go ALL day without lossing my battery which equates to about ~4-5 hours of music/radio/audio/Video podcast. If your using a lot of video you will cut that in half given your powering the screen as well. When I do come to a dead Zune I think its because I left something running; however I have had times when I didnt charge it overnight and it seems to be mysteriously dead. I chalk this up to me not stopping something from running. Even when I am getting a low bettery warning I can still listen to audio podcasts for hours.
It seems to fairly displaya the current batterly life although I would rather have a percent displayed over a graphic. You can in theory get over 20 hours of life from it. www.zunerama.com/forum/index.php?topic=11119.0
In settings on the Zune try this:
-Turn your wireless off if you don't need it all day long
-Set yoru backlight to 15 seconds
-Set your brightness to Medium (still easily viewable unless your in 100% direct sunlight)
Hope this helps....
