My 60gb 5g device is completely full and really would like to upgrade to a bigger iPod.

I am somewhat locked into an iPod b/c thats what my current car stereo (Alpine) supports. I almost NEVER listen to my iPod on headphones, its pretty much my car's media player and that's it, so yes this feature alone is important enough for me to keep an Apple product. That being said, i HATE HATE HATE itunes. Abandoning iTunes was probably the smartest tech thing I have ever done.

I have been using media monkey and while it does have a learning curve, am really used to it and like it now. Does anyone successfully use Media Monkey with their Classic (6G) iPod? I had no trouble getting my 5G to work and it syncs like 5x as fast as iTunes would have.

Second question, I know with the iPod touch and the mini's, they don't seem to charge while docked. Because of my car stereo setup, which currently charges my 5G, this is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! My setup dies if I am constantly charging my iPod outside of my car :( Does the Classic still retain this feature of charging while docked?

Final question, anyone go from a 5G to a 6G/Classic and was pleased or displeased? It's a pretty simple upgrade it seems, are there any additional features I am gaining or losing?
