Like all of the eTrex series, the rubber-like band around the GPS comes loose after a bit of use. Garmin doesn't seem to want to deal with the issue.

I found forums on the web wherein users said that Garmin either repaired the problem or sent them a repair kit. I contacted Garmin, and they offered to exchange my unit for a refurb for $100 or so. When I get around to it, I'll fix it myself with some RTV.
