Lack of Linux support, that's a dealbreaker.

I'm not really an active person, but the Fitbit is awesome. I'd love to be able to track my sleep patterns, but the lack of any Linux support is a total dealbreaker for me.

Linux rocks! I have it on all my computers. I can't get it to run acceptably on my Macbook though. That's sort of ironic... to have a Mac and want to put Linux on it. :)

I have to side with Ryan on this one. MacOS X, Solaris10, Windows7, "currently" are the only OSs that dont need to be sandboxed by another OS to provide reasonable security. In the wrong hands no OS is secure. Linux cant be secured. Two words as proof, reloc and memloc. Lock down your -20 nice, loopback your tty's over 16, doesnt matter. The illusion of security on Linux is the crux of why it is not adopted. Your tieing your own hands plus giving a free plausable denighability to the rest of us that can thread and redirect your botnets on a simple LDAP command. I am not a fan of Apple simply because I dont like the $ andcathedral snoobery but that doesnt mean I dont have a healthy respect for it and hope they succeed. Linux is the best learning platform, but you just cant keep-up with the massive malifacters on the international stage... in any meaningful way. Thinking otherwise is plain arrogance unsubstantiated because of the illusion of being left alone... simply because at the crux of the battles you are the light infantry.

You're joking, right? I think you're joking. You have to be joking.

Really? Because I was just giving Jon a hard time -- basically an inside joke.

What I'm still trying to figure out is whether your specious, fallacious, nonsensical comment is some kind of super advanced satire, or whether you actually think there are Linux botnets out there.
