Just got my X120e in the mail yesterday. Swapped out the hard drive with a 64GB SSD, added 2GB DDR3 RAM, and swapped the Fn and Ctrl key (BIOS option.

) This little machine is fantastic! Able to play light games (tested Torchlight) and flipping around between windows is quick and snappy.

Minor note, mine shipped with BIOS 1.10 so I flashed to 1.11. Supposedly it improves video performance. I tried fullscreen 1080p Youtube video and it choked up a bit, but 720p works just fine.

As others have noted, the fan hums along pretty regularly but it is not too distracting.

Was switching to SSD hard? What method did you use to do it as far as transferring the data from the old drive to the new?

I did not transfer the data, I did a clean install of Windows 7 and used the Product Key that was provided on the laptop itself.

Swapping the hard-drive itself was very easy. Just unscrew the back plate and there is a hard-drive cage to remove.
