IzzehO on the internet tablet talk forums has posted a how to for getting pretty damn good N64 emulation working on the Nokia N900.
Here are some samples I took:

One more updated video of Goldeneye on the N900, this time with sound and some game play footage: www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1ogircgtu0
I have to say, that's one of the things you notice about an OSS platform that's going nowhere. Ports & emulators. Half of these things aren't playable anyway - they're demos in geek, not games.
I'm not sure what you mean. Games like Goldeneye might be hard to run until we get an updated emulator build (already available on the FOSS Pandora), but I play emulated games all the time, start to finish on my N900. It's especially easy when I sync my PS3 controller to the Nokia, and then connect it to my TV with the analog video/audio out cable. It's just like having a small games console that can run everything from NES and Sega CD games, all the way to N64 and Playstation games.
AND I didn't pay a dime to some corporate app store for the right to do it. Wrap your head around that the next time you're in line at the Apple store...

That can run everything...
...badly. Or "pretty well, considering", depeding on how you look at it.
I doubt any iPhone users who have a squillion, *really* good, native games will be quaking in their boots. We've got, what, Angry Birds, GLTron and Tuxrace?

Here's another vid of N900 gameplay (as much as one can play when holding a video camera in one hand). Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
