It works even if you dual boot your computer

Got mine yesterday and am pleasantly impressed. Didn't install Logitech's software but it worked fine nonetheless.

Here's something that surprised me... My Mac has Windows XP installed using bootcamp. I set the mouse up on Windows and it worked fine. Then I rebooted my machine on Mac OS and didn't have to set it up at all because the machine transferred the settings to Mac OS somehow. It started working as soon as the desktop appeared. Pretty cool huh?

I didn't have to install the software to make the side scroll buttons work in Mac OS but I guess I might have to do so in Windows becuase I tried to side scroll but it didn't. I don't need that feature enough to install the software though so that's no biggie. The reason I didn't install the software is because I don't want to accumulate too much cruft.

The other thing I want to comment on is the middle button. It seems it isn't very sensitive. I had this happen on my previous Logitech mouse too which was a V150. Again not a big issue as I just have to press the button a little harder.

I've been happy about it for the time being. What are your impressions?

The machine didn't transfer the settings to Mac OS somehow, Mac OS supports that mouse out of the box. I know, because I have a similar model.

I meant to say that I didn't need to pair it on Mac OS. You probably had to do that. Didn't you?
