Wow, I loved my Micro - I went with Creative when everyone was flocking to Apple... I liked that the battery was removable - I every have the wired remote... The original software was kind of clunky but it was suffice. I also have Creative's leather case for it. It died a couple of times during warranty so I was able to get it replace without a problem. the only thing was that disappointed me was the headphone jack problem.... I had it repaired at some place after the warranty expired... but the problem returned. I was going to try to fix myself... someone had posted a step by step instructions with photos... but never got the chance... I moved on to another player (Christmas gift).
I still have it but the battery will not hold a charge... I could probably find another battery but what should I do with the Micro?

It was my first MP3 Player
I think the Micro was my first MP3 player, since my family all had ipods. I do miss that thing but after the hard drive crashed I moved up to a Zen vision M which never let me down for three years, other then a halfway inked out screen but it was still usable. I think I still have mine somewhere.
