it was a great phone, but verizon didn't work where I lived or at work.

I switched to Sprint after checking out the carrier coverage comparison tool by root wireless and now have great coverage. I love the HTC evo 4g! The size is actually a nice feature. I got tired of using the smaller screen.

Yeah the bigger screen on the EVO is nice. Verizon is getting more choices for big screen phones now. They had the Droid X and now they are getting the HTC Droid Thunderbolt. I'm sure there are some I missed but those are the two I can think of off hand.

My wifes friend has the droid x and I played with it for a while. One thing I don't like about it is the layer motorolla put on top of android. Its not intuitive and I dont like the widgets. I do like the size and the design is pretty good.

I really don't like any of the layers the manufactures put on top of Android. I like the plain interface that is on the Nexus 1 and Nexus S.

I'm ok with htc sense; it's the only one I'm ok with so far. I hated touchwiz. Long ago I had the nexus 1 and liked it plain. I admit sense isn't perfect but it looks cool and you aren't forced into to syncing services with their version of mail, peep or htc facebook, etc...
