It's tiny and it's inexpensive, but the connection is insanely loose on my 15- and 17" MBPs.

It's constantly pulling loose and ejecting accidentally. I've now owned two and both suffer from the same problem. I'll never own a third.

I was having the same issue, but I realized that I wasn't pushing in the cord all the way. If felt like it couldn't go in anymore, but if you put a little more pressure on it, it kinda "locks" in. Give it another shot.

I agree, the "new" micro USB connectors that I use seem to wear more so than the older mini USB ports. I have to bet extra gentle with my WD micro USB connector, yet my portable Seagate mini USB connector has been chugging along with no issues. Wish they would go back to the older port or make them sturdier.
