It's a cute device, my wife warmed up to it quickly and threw out our nice iPod dock/alarm clock.
Chumby is still a little rough around the edges but the interface seems to work well enough.
Featurewise, it's pretty weak. I'm using it as an internet radio hooked to my stereo. As I get better at hacking it, I imagine it will be more useful. It won't go down a pictures folder. That seems pretty dumb for something that looks like a frame...
There are other strange limitations. I'm not big on the channels thing. I want it to be a clock, picture display, and music player, maybe an occasional video, but you have to plop the apps into a channel and let it rotate through them. I assume this is a bb/Insignia thing.
