Is Vizio going to do to PCs what they've done to TVs?

I remember a few years ago when Vizio came on the scene with their subpar TV sets. People discarded them as a competitors; now no one can deny that they're doing big things...

My question is this:
WIth these new Thin + light laptops, Is Vizio going to do it again?
From just looking at them, they're very sexy looking!
TheVerge.com did a great feature with Vizio.

I've gotta say; I'm impressed... Am I drinking the coolade too early?

That's good to know. You should write a review and post it. I should say; I work for a company considered the number 1 laptop maker in the world but frankly, due to recent lack of quality, my eyes have started to wander. My wallet will be next I think ;-)

I filled out a short review but didn't go into detail. You should check it out. When i get time I will go into a detailed review.

I'm in complete agreement with you. Did you get the 14 or 15 inch? Have you opened up your laptop yet to see expandability?

I got the 15". And no I haven't opened it. I am going to try to not do that though.

I'll do it eventually. I wanna get an 8GB 1600Mhz DIMM in this beast. :)

I am wary about buying any Visio products. You are correct about subpar budget TVs. We will have to see what sets them apart from other manufacturers. (My guess will be they will try undercut with price)

Should be interesting at least

Yeah; I totally agree with you... Their aim (and rightly so) will be to undercut prices. And when they started that with TVs their quality really wasn't up to par but eventually they broke through, and now they're a powerhouse. It will be interesting to see how they do it on PCs.

Another thing that impresses me a lot is that Vizio's PCs don't have bloatware. None whatsoever. Way to go.
