Is the battery removable?

I haven't read any specific comments regarding battery removal. Will the fact that it is waterproof make it sealed and non-removable?

The Playsport sounds like a slightly more compact but rugged zi8. In a way I am thankful I was not able to get a zi8 since it has been sold out everywhere.

Let's see those zi8 vs. Playsport comparisons.

Ah yeah, interesting question! The only thing I could divine from Kodak's Playsport website is that a "KODAK Li-Ion Rechargeable Digital Camera Battery KLIC-7004" is listed as part of the package contents. This leads me to believe that the battery *is* removable.

I've had a few waterproof digital cameras (the Olympus Stylus series) that had removable batteries as well. The battery compartment doors were water sealed and I never had a problem with it.

Update: Looks like it's a pretty standard Kodak battery! So it is removable.
