My 2 cent worth comment on the proposed conference is as follows:

1) Microsoft will display a Windows RT device made by one of its Hardware partners and launch its own version of the Microsoft store to sell multimedia content such as Books, Audio Books, and Movies on demand as is being done by Google, Apple and Amazon. The device would be a stripped down version more closer to the Amazon Kindle Fire rather than the iPAD

They would also perhaps open their store for 3rd party Apps developers as done by Apple and Google.

Their entire focus would be on the Microsoft ´s Eco System in lines of the Android Store.



2) Microsoft will stress that for hardware they will go with their partners. After all they get billions in licensing from their traditional partners Acer, Asus, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Samsung, Toshiba, etc and they will not want to antagonize them all at once.

Let us see if my predictions are on the mark. Vide this post I have already put my hat in the ring.
