iPhone users?
Anyone using their Slingbox Solo with the iPhone SlingPlayer? Good experience? I'm assuming its wifi only...
I use the slingplayer and it does exactly what one would want. You are right: because of a throttling limitation placed on the 3g AT&T network, the slingplayer only works on wifi. If you jailbreak your iPhone and get an app that causes the 3g network to be seen as if it is wifi, you can override the AT&T restriction and use slingplayer on 3g like blackberry users on Verizon or Sprint.
Bought one as soon as AT&T said they would allow this traffic go through their 3G network. Overall, it's great locally, via wi-fi, and 3G. The only one concern is the latency in changing channels or viewing a channel listing. There is a delay. Is this something that could be improved upon?
