Indoor 'party camera': In what ballpark is this?

It's not as though I'm deliberately trying to build a Leica collection in particular, but I really like the plain design of these machines and I've been eyeing this given the somewhat weird results I've been getting with the DSC-T900, something I can only put down to the folded lens - perhaps given my (maybe unreasonable) expectations I was anticipating too much out of it, but I'm not wholly happy. And the CL3 seems to be a minimal size tradeoff with the T900 in order to get perhaps better image quality.

But my problem has always been the Lumix internals and indoor photography. As a 'party camera', a small camera invariably has a lot of indoor use. There hasn't been a Lumix that has really impressed me in this aspect, and this goes right up to the D-Lux 4. Too much noise in the image in less than perfect light. It used to be (and in fact *is* in my case as I still have an FZ5) pretty terrible with first crop of (well-reviewed) Lumixes, and although it's improved as of late even the D-Lux 4 ocasionally turns up images that makes me go 'what the hell is this please?'.

Is the CL3 a bad choice? What else should I be looking at?
