I wonder if the ABC, CBS, NBC will block their online content on boxee, like they are on googleTV?

Boxee has a built-in browser that lets you view shows that these networks put up on their website. It pretty much just plays the video back as is you were watching it full screen on your computer, but really streamlined. You pretty much just select the show and episode and it starts up. It works surprisingly well, though could be slow to load up video at times, and there's a lot more out there than just the ABC, CBS, and NBC.

The only thing that kinda sucks is that it seems like there isn't too much HD streaming content from the major networks, so you won't be getting the most out of your HDTV if that's your primary source of content.

Agreed. There have been efforts to block Boxee access to Hulu and other sites, but as long as content is available for streaming via a web browser it's a pretty safe bet someone will figure out a way for Boxee to pull it in.

The googleTV from Sony and Logitech also has a built in browser (Chrome) and even so, the content is being blocked by Hulu, NBC, CBS, etc... I believe this is to ensure believe will have to subscribe to the upcoming Hulu+ app.
