I want a Ipad should I have it ??
There are rumors that iPad 2 is coming, should I wait for iPad 2 ?
I would wait for the iPad 2, even if the upgrades aren't significant they will bring prices down on the iPad 1 on places like Amazon on eBay. Also, if Apple follows the same strategy they have been doing on the iPhone, they could release the iPad 2 but keep one iPad one model at the low end price point
I haven't followed Apple product trends for that long but I feel that we know that the rumor will come true. We know that Apple announces new products in the first quarter and refreshes its products in the second. Rumors of the Verizon iPhone began way before it happened -- lo and behold, it did.
Unlike the array of Android products that constantly crop up, you can buy an iPad and know that you've got the best on that platform for at least a year and that it will see updates. My point is we know, based on numerous credible resources, that the iPad 2 is coming so go ahead and wait or risk wishing you had for the better hardware. Maybe I'm also ranting for those people who've bought the Epic 4G and Vibrant that are still stuck on Android 2.1 or those unknowing consumers who bought phones before CES only to find out that more capable hardware was on the way.

Anyone on the fence should not buy an iPad. You'll be kicking yourself for not waiting for the iPad 2. I'd only buy an iPad today if I absolutely needed one, and couldn't wait for the next generation.
I have an iPad that I needed for my business, and I neither love nor hate it. I probably haven't spent enough time with it to figure out the niches it excels at. And I have my iPhone and MacBook Pro for use around the house (besides my desktop Mac Pro), so the iPad is probably used by my 2yo son more than by me...
Oh, I needed it for my business because I produce an accessory, and needed a test unit. Otherwise, I too would have waited awhile before throwing another $500 at Apple!
