I've recently got the European version of this phone, the Milestone. I'm stuck with 2.
1 at the moment, what can I do to maximise my experience with this phone?
There are a lot of UI tweaks that you can get that will take the phone quite a bit beyond what's available in stock 2.1. I'm partial to Launcher Pro and Beautiful Widgets. If you don't already have one, I'd strongly recommend getting set up with a Google Voice account too. The Double Twist app greatly streamlines that process of syncing your music with your PC, and IMO is quite a bit better than the stock Android media player as well.
Google Voice is unfortunately unavailable in the UK at the moment, I've tried using DT half a year ago , but the computer I have is 4 years old, and it slows it down a bit. I'll give it another go, maybe the new version will work better.
