I've had the Wifi only Xoom for a week now and am absolutely sold on it!

The "old" apps usually work full screen and everything from display to speed to smooth scrolling works just beautifully. Streaming video on its wireless works better than on the big computer wired to the network.

If the sales are disappointing it's because of availability. I only found one store with it in stock and they only had one. Using the Xoom is so convenient that I'm on my desktop Kubuntu computer less often. I'm typing this standing up with the great SlideIT keyboard. My netbook was never as useful. Honeycomb is complete, stable and easy to use, although I've put Launcher Pro on as I liked it on my Dell Streak.

Why are there so many critics now when it was the CES best of show in January? I think its just the big target to blame for the inevitable limitations of all tablet form factor devices. I think it's a breakthrough product and well worth the money. I could pay more to buy a phone.

My only problem with the Xoom was the price, and the WiFi version made me finally order one. I know it's not as smooth or well supported as the iPad, but I don't care, it fits my needs nicely.
