The Fitbit is definitely worth the price tag. It's a far more polished product than anything that's out there for cheaper, and the attached service is completely free. For what you get, it's not overpriced.

It went on sale a few weeks ago, briefly. They were selling for $79, naturally AFTER I purchased one. Now that I use one, I agree with Dignan17 and dave, it's worth it.
