I'm in the market for a new Android phone for T-Mob, and was wondering if there's any specifically I should hold out for, or any that are out that are…
top notch. Any input is welcome.
The 800mhz in the G2 is going to be faster and more efficient then the ones in the Nexus/X/Evo ect. They redesigned it to run better/faster and with less juice since it is smaller. And that whole Android needs 1ghz processor rumor was just that a rumor, not true in the least bit, even if it was this is the G2, it will get as many updates as Google can throw at it.
Tmobile USA is coming out with the G2, an 800mhz scorpion processor, on par with the hummingbird in the vibrant. It is coming out toward the end of the month. The G2 is great if you want a hardware keyboard, if not the Vibrant is pretty awesome itself with the hummingbird processor.
I think they are both $500, the Vibrant is an awesome phone few bugs that will probably be fixed with 2.2, the G2 hopefully will have the most efficient cpu/gpu on the market so battery should be great. between the two its all about preference. I like the vibrant but prefer having the keyboard so extra weight ect is a necessary trade off for me. Then in November there is probably going to be a few more high end phone specifically the mytouch HD and a new rumor about a dual core LG phone.
Yes, for the time being, they have promised 2.2, but the G2 is the only one on tmobile that is going to ship with 2.2.
