I'm going to buy a Kodak Zi8 (on sale right now at Kodak for $129 bit.ly/bYtwqI. Was looking at Class 6 16 GB card for it, and saw this Memorex 16 GB SDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card 32020015833 amzn.to/cCy2Ui at Amazon (through buy.com). Any thoughts or experience with Memorex SDHC cards?

Thanks,

Greg

I'm concerned about buying a memory card from a "no-name". Have you found A-Data to be a reliable source for memory cards? [Update] Looking at reviews on amazon.com, amzn.to/d83bCH is definitely enough to scare me away from A-Data. Rated 1.5 stars overall with 31 ratings at 1 star and only 3 ratings of 5 stars...

Anyone else have thoughts about whose SDHC cards to get? I would like cost-competitive, for sure, but I don't want to take birthday videos only to have a memory card failure...

Have you considered that this company only makes this kind of memory So maybe their research is only going to making this sort of thing and memorex even though you recognise the name has sold me some of the less dependable componants over the years...and makes a bunch of stuff that is really rebadged stuff from the lowest bidder...I know I wouldnt pay more for an inferior Memorex...and if you dont feel you are getting your moneys worth from a class 10...take it back.

That's why I was asking about the Memorex SDHC card. I wasn't blindly going for the Memorex card. Seems like Sandisk and Kingston are the two best-known names. Anyone else have opinions on SDHC?
