i love my zune, but ***HATE*** there are no aftermarket car radios that are compatible :/

i do have a piece to get it connected to the stock radio.

this is just 1 reason zune falls behind the competition.

i have my zune hooked up to my car with the soundgate for nissan. it gets the job done perfectly throught my stock radio and i do have a wired remote that's next to the shifter.

i'd just prefer to have more options. this is a FAIL on the part of microsoft

YES, completely agree. I am surprised, because most cars, like the Scion tC and xB could really benefit from a Zune plus iPod dock. These 'teenager' cars dont have any such Zune integration, and then, what you said, no one makes Zune compatible car stereos. Sigh. I settle with the AUX tape player in the cassette part of some older car systems.

I'm doing the same thing, which makes me thankful I actually have a cassette player in my car. Unfortunately, this means I can't forward, rewind, or pause/resume, and my Zune has to sit in my cup holder.

Yeah, Microsoft need to market the Zune and get the brand out there so they will be better supported.

I can't remember the brand, but there is a Zune car add-in device that can be directly wired to your system and also provides a little 'remote' that can be mounted on your dashboard. I would buy one but I don't live in the US and sometimes ordering such things is a pain.

I currently use one of the Zune dual connect remotes mounted on my dashboard and a cable going from it to my stereo's line input. It allows me to use the play/pause/next/prev/vol buttons on the remote, but the remote itself has a bug that means it only works if you plug the audio cable in AFTER you plug the Zune in, which detracts from the seamlessness of my setup.

Ford's Sync product also works with Zunes.

Yeah, I was going to mention the Ford SYNCs are nice for any MP3 player, but that is only on select brand new Ford, Lincolns and Mercurys, so meaning, wanting to play your zune over car speakers conveniently doesn't come cheap.
