It is very frustrating to be in the middle of a game of UNO (my favourite time waster, don't ask) and to have it slow to a crawl when a text message comes in. Or to wait and wait for the camera app to kick in. Don't even get me stared on visual voicemail. So I am hoping the Incredible will be closer to the phone of my dreams. My biggest concerns are: 1) virtual keyboard -- I have problems with the one on the Imagio because the keys are so tiny. Even with T9, I still end up with "yoi" more often than "you". 2) Media management on the Imagio is painful. Hitting the sweet spot with video conversion is still hit and miss and I am not a fan of mobile Windows Media Player for audio. However, I have heard very little about media playback on Android (other than it is or was pretty lame). I do love the Imagio's kickstand and wish the Incredible had one.
I am hoping that jumping ship from WinMo to Android won't be too painful.
By the way, does anyone know if you can switch phones in the middle of a contract without incurring any severe penalties? I know that I won't get the "new every two" discount and will have to sign up for a new contract.
