I just dropped a 30GB SSD drive in here and installed Win7. It is awesome. Boots to ready in under a minute. Response is extremely fast on everything.
I ended up picking up a Kingston SSDnow V Series (SNV125-S2/30GB) from Newegg for $40 after sale & rebate. Since I got one of the first 4GB ASUS eeePC's for my wife I've been dying to get my hands on an SSD for this computer. The prices have dropped quite a bit, but they're still pretty pricey - especially compared to the bottom falling out of IDE drive prices. When I saw this one for $40 I couldn't pass it up. I'd love to have something bigger, but it's more than enough for the OS and my programs (I hope ;). I just ordered an external case to put the 120GB IDE drive in for storage of media etc.
