The iPad does'nt have iTunes it is an Large iPod.
So i still need to have my notebook or iMac set to iTunes if i want to Play music

Seems like this Loodje is just posting to cause trouble. I seriously doubt he bought the most expensive model, then immediately posted about how it's just a 'big ipod'. I HATE Apple's philosophy, but even I can see the use in an iPad. Use it as a Netflix player if you have the subscription, or even use it a e book reader, the OP doesn't make it clear about all that he wants to do with it.
My house-mate got his iPad on release day. If you don't know how to stream to an IPad then i'd suggest a quick google because there are numerous ways to stream content without even having to jailbreak the device.
