I have to say, however, that I now prefer my Tivo Premiere as my preferred living room solution. The Tivo DVR software is the best available. It is very capable as my replacement Comcast DVR and it also downloads my video podcasts, it allows me to view YouTube content, it allows me to stream photos and iTunes content from my Mac, it can stream Pandora, Netflix, Amazon Unboxed and even Blockbuster. There is also a great iPad app that gives lots of cool functions (scheduling, playback control, etc.) Dislikes include the $20/month subscription fee and they place ads on the interface (jerks).
