I have a soft spot for SanDisk's Sansa line - I used an e280 for a couple of years and liked it a lot - but I really get the sense that their heart…

isn't in the game anymore.

Sad but true. I also had the e280 and for it's time it was fantastic. The sounds quality is still better than most players too - I started using it again after learning on here that it supported Rockbox!

I just recently bought a Fuze 2 as an ipod nano replacement (needed linux support + the ability to copy to and from the player between work and home). I love the thing. This Fuze+ doesn't really appeal to me though.

I like hardware buttons for in-pocket controlling. Especially in the winter. This push for all touch devices is kind of depressing.

sansa fuze+ is an all-in-one enterteinment device in a small and design with the correct price.
