I have a 250gb model I think, I have going on two years now and after backing up gigs of storage on it, it suddenly decides to transfer very slowly...

my pc says its not recognized as a usb 2.0 device or something like that and i have tried it on other pc's and its the same thing. I don't know if its damaged physically or if there is something wrong with the drivers or what....I need my data and I need it fast....HELP!!!!!

Is it currently under warranty? I'd get it checked out. Please tell me you have your data backed up onto another drive?
