Because the screen on this thing is the worst I've seen on any consumer electronics device. It was simply unusable. The problem was that if you looked at it straight-on in landscape mode (like the photo in this GDGT entry), the top edge of the screen would have a different contrast/color saturation than the bottom edge.

Where this became the biggest problem was when you tried to do anything in portrait mode. Because of this inconsistency across the screen, your eyes effectively see two different images because neither sees the same color on something like an icon. I'm not kidding, if you look at an icon in portrait mode that's to the left edge of the screen, you get this weird (and uneasy) effect of looking at two different things with the same eye. I tried reading comics like this, and started getting headaches and an uneasy stomach. It wasn't fun to say the least.

I returned my 101 yesterday and I'm eagerly awaiting a much better tablet to come out of CES. The sad part is I just know that everything announced this week will be far more expensive than the 101. But you get what you pay for, and this piece of crap was unusable!
