I had this phone for 9 months before I upgraded to an iPhone 4. It's a cheap toy that sadly was the best Android phone available back in September.
The only thing that got me through it was my iPod Touch and CyanogenMod! They've got 2.2 on there now while HTC/T-Mobile are dragging their feet to update it.
Yeah I felt the same way. It just always felt a little cheap to me. I mean, it lasted me just fine through 8 months but then after playing with the Nexus One, I decided to give it up. I have almost stopped using my iPod Touch now because I just use the Nexus One for everything despite the terrible media player. I got sick of carrying two devices.
I just got a txt from T-Mobile notifying me that a froyo upgrade was coming over the air in the next two weeks. See www.t-mobile.com/myTouch-MR
