I feel like the system itself is kind of like steam, except that there's a gamepad involved with it.
It would be nice to try one out so that I could see if there were big differences in the games. Of course, I would love to play my games on the big television screen, so this might be for me. I'm kind of confused on what it's supposed to do. Just a cloud console system?
Yes, regarding just a cloud console system. The size is impressively small and the controller itself is really quite nice. I've been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service especially since you are in essence viewing a window on a cloud server running your game.
What is love is the ability to play without the console (running the application on Mac or PC).
My biggest beef is with the small game library (and the fact that most of the games a single player FPS), but because it is a service, they regularly do add new games.
Interesting tidbit I heard from a rep: Their games are typically based off of the PC SKUs.
