I do have to say, SanDisk really knows how to make a stylish flash drive. Although it is a bit flimsy... The transfer speeds are also lame.

Oh well, this one is just for documents!

Hm, I'd imagine with the USB connector being plastic and not metal, it must get scuffed up quite a bit. Is this the case with your Cruzer Blade?

It appears to be a reasonably tough plastic. If you keep plugging it in and out on a regular basis I can see it wearing out, but otherwise it shouldn't present major issues.

The only 'problem' is the performance for the 'something for nothing' types. It's cheap for a reason - and the plastic housing is only one of the cost reduction aspects. I buy these as disposables / giveaways.

Yeah I didn't have a flash drive so this is my temporary fix to hold me over until USB 3 drives start coming out. I paid $20; not the best price but it's OK.

@chinster I couldn't say because I only purchased this the other day. The plastic is the kind that has a bit of texture on it and it's not soft.

Yeah the transfer speeds are unbearably slow. Somehow I managed to use it as the primary storage once where I had to save all my Photoshop and Illustrator files on it on another computer.

It is really really small as well but there is no protection for the connector
