After a fleeting visit to 3 store Newport, I asked "what's new on Android" .. as you do, the sales assistant a plunged a Sony Saito in my hand and assured me its exactly what I wanted, I escaped to in intended destination T-Mobile Newport to lay my hands on my object of desire.

I went prepaired to the T-Mobile UK Store in Newport with a wad of Cash - My transfer Codes and Identity hopeing to Sign up for the most anticipated new phone in years

"No - You cannot have one sir The HTC is Faulty"

Faulty ? Surely My ANDROID lust and obsessive forum reading in the past few weeks would have picked up on the Desire being Faulty? I had not seen a mention on any forum UK or USA saying the Desire is FAULTY!!

"Yes sir the phones definitely FAULTY full of bugs indeed - we have had to send all ours back - The phones withdrawn !"

So I suggest to the "Sales person" that if indeed T-mo added something nasty to the HTC Desire it it may well be FAULTY -
But surely its not a good idea to say the HTC Desire is FAULTY - Only that T-mobiles implementation is FAULTY ?

She showed me the door - I Still don't have my Desire

Thankfully THREE Voda and 02 have the desire listed as coming soon ;)

I Doubt theirs is FAULTY madam

I may just order one from their website but insist on picking it up at the store ;)

Popped into the Newport 02 store for an Android update and was offered a great deal on a iPhone and offered an "Unlimited" internet connection if I signed up there and then -
Told him he lost the sale as soon as he said the word "Unlimited" ;)
