nerdbusters

I bought these at the airport when I forgot my trusty old Shure e5c's. I was pleasantly surprised by the rich sound quality.

The bass was strong and might even beat out my Shure's (which I paid an arm and a leg for about 5 years ago). I highly recommend these, but be very gentle as they are not very durable. The ear buds are very solid and quite heavy, but Monster could have upgraded the cables as the thin flexible cables can be damaged easily. I had to send my first pair back for a replacement, but no worries as Monster's customer service is excellent. For less than $150, the Monster Turbine's are a great upgrade for any music lover.

$150 for a pair of earbuds? hmm i'm sure they produce an awesome sound but like you said they're fragile(fra gee lee - a christmas story). do they have a good warranty?

I think it's three years, so I imagine you can trash as many as you possible and just send them back for a fresh replacement when they stop working.
