i bought the 32gb 3G. I have read probably 6 books on it, both iBooks and Amazon. News apps, travel tools and Reeder are most used apps after books.

Games are ok, but they get old fast. Biggest surprise is how little I use 3G, even when traveling. Lots more Wifi around than I thought, and this thing sips MB.

Netflix is cool, but gets old looking DOWN to see a show. Check out my beef about Amazon Kindle app: tinyurl.com/2fpou4z (posterous)

I agree about 3G. I have the wifi version and have only had one or 2 occasions where it would have been nice to have 3G.

I used 3G extensively on my vacation and last trip. Many times the wifi quality in hotels is very poor. I have found the 3G performance typically good enough to stream decent-quality Netflix and Hulu video.

I think the primary benefit of 3G is that it makes the iPad completely untethered. What I'm not sure of is whether I *really* need an unlimited data plan; however, for just $5 more than the 2GB plan I see no reason to let it go.
