I am using 7, Google Chrome OS is not a stand alone system I gather from what has been posted here.
So why would I want to take up drive space on a SSD to install another OS.
This particular build of Chrome OS hosted here is created for use within a virtual machine.
Many people who have downloaded it are curious about this new operating system and wanted an easy way to check it out. Considering that it's not even alpha software, the prospect of installing it as a standalone OS on one's computer is rather intimidating.
