As I understand it, Best Buy (aka Insignia) has discontinued their mp3 player lines. Which is a shame. The pilot was the best bargain out there. I picked mine up new for $80 over a year ago, while other video players of the same size were $200 or more. It was a no-brainer. Plus, it has FM radio, great battery life, etc.
I love this player more than my iPod, definitely.
The only downside has been the lack of firmware and software updates. Don't get me wrong; it works great. But with other players, the Windows software or the firmware gets updated every once in a while to add new features or increase usability. Not this guy.
