Discussion about
HTC or Samsung?
HTC ONE X or Samsung Galaxy Series? Which is better? Of course, Android system is a must. And also premium front & back camera.
Yeah~HTC has been nice for a long time~and recently, Samsung Galaxy seems to get Samsung back to life~
As a person who has owned a phone from both companies I can say that both HTC and Samsung produce very good cell phones. Both make sturdy phones which I can attest. I'm tough on mobile phones. That being said, Samsung seems to put a little extra in all their phones. Also a little more style. I currently own a Galaxy S2 and can honestly say it is by far the best phone I have owned. Ultimately the choice will end up being subjective. I recommend you try to come in contact with friends who own these phones and ask them to let you look these phones first hand. I think once you've held theses devices in your hands and gotten a feel for their use, you may be able to see which you like better.
Hmm, I've used Samsung once, and attracted by HTC since my sister gets the first one. Until now, HTC ONE X is the best choice among HTC Smartphones. But Samsung Galaxy series has more options.
Hehe, thanks for your advice. It is much better than watching the video reviews or reading text reviews. :)

I have both (international) models and I can say this about them.
The One X is beautifully built and much more pleasing to hold and look at. It's camera (in my opinion) is better in terms of its software and the image results more accurate in colour. I feel it has better audio and the screen is far superior in every way.
The Samsung however is so ridiculously fast that as a whole the experience of using the phone, from navigating to opening apps, has me pick it up before the One X. It really seems to be more intuitive to use and so far has had the slightly better battery though not by enough to have it be the clear choice.
You would not be disappointed by either and I am so grateful I have both and don't have to choose.

If you want the better front camera, the Galaxy SIII seems to beat the HTC One X
Also the latest and greatest is the Galaxy SIII.

Both are pretty nice and similar phones. Depends on your taste IMO. TouchWiz or Sense? Larger battery capacity (SGS3 has approx. 300mAH more juice)? While the hardware is almost the same, you can root and play around with software (ROMS, mods, etc..). There is no "better" phone.
I agree.. There is no better phone.
It's what you personally feel you like more. Software related, if you're familiar to Android you could install any ROMs on these 2 phones, and customize it as you wish.
So it end up to hardware. Which one fits you better. I personally like One X better. Definitely feels more premium.

apart from camera, if you prefer design, looks and if you do not want to root the phone 1X is good.
But if you want to play around with the device, go for S3.

That makes sense, since I really do not want to root my phone~~~
The applications and games installed may be more or less the same~~:)

two points for One X now~and Galaxy S3 gets one~~~For its appearance and design, I like both of them.
I have owned the SIII for 10 days now. I can proudly say for the first time, the level of fluidity is equal or beyond Iphone. Everyone is talking about sense vs touchwiz. I agree touchwiz used to look terrible, but this current version has improved tremendously. The camera is so snappy, it took me a minute to figure out I had already taken about 5 pictures!
Regarding the design. I never thought I would own a white phone, but this has grown on me. Yes, the material of the HTC feels more premium, but let's face it, we all put a case to our precious phones, don't we? In that case, weight and slimness become more crucial factors.
It was the exchangeable battery + extra SD that made me decide for the SIII (plus the amazing 50GB dropbox storage). Even today, all heavy users suffer from battery anxiety, so the possibility to carry around an extra one is priceless. For the owners of the SII, I was always uncomfortable with the flimsy back. This one seems tougher, more flexible and much easier to snap out at the same time.

Wow, very detailed information! That really gains much points for Galaxy S3 now!! Thanks a lot~
I know which to get now~~Just cannot wait to get the one~~:)

Great post. The only holdback I have is battery life. Can you make it until the end of the day on one charge without babying it?
It is always a matter of usage, I guess. What I would say, though, is that of all the android phones, this one lasts the longest, with the exception of the Note.
I still don't own an extra battery, so I do baby it from time to time, but I will buy a spare one with the amazing charger.

if you want gorgeous design and screen you'll want to look at all day with a below average battery, HTC OneX.
If you want an almost lagless phone with real multitasking with average battery life, SGS3.
Used to own an HTC OneX, when it got stolen, i bought a SGS3. I don't know if i regret it or not. I think it's neutral. I miss the screen and design of my OneX, but i love the battery and fluidity of the S3, though sometimes, the screen is too dark for my taste.
